Gift Card and Gift Membership T&Cs

Filmhouse Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance after the expiry date will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or redeemed. Gift Cards may be redeemed online or in-house for cinema tickets, memberships, merchandise and concessions at our Box Office, and food and drink purchased in the Cafe Bar. If the total purchase value exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method. Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. No change or cash refund will be given for any unused balance. 

A Gift Membership can be redeemed for a Filmhouse Membership. Due to data protection laws, memberships cannot be activated or assigned to a named individual at the time of purchase. 

Gift Memberships must be activated within 12 months from the date of purchase. Any balance after the expiry date will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or redeemed. Gift Memberships are not active at the point of purchase. Gift Memberships can be activated by the recipient in person by presenting the original physical Gift Membership card or online by entering the number, located underneath the QR on the card, into the “Gift Cards and Promos” box. On activation, the recipient will be required to provide their personal details so the membership can be registered in their name. 

We cannot accept or process personal data of the recipient from the purchaser. Personal details will only be collected directly from the membership holder at the time of activation, in accordance with applicable data protection and GDPR legislation. Personal data will be handled in line with the Filmhouse Privacy Policy.. Once activated, the membership will be valid for the standard membership term associated with that membership type, starting from the date of activation. Gift Memberships are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
