A Private Life

When she finds out about the death of one of her patients, she is deeply concerned, to the point of believing it was murder. Convinced of this fact, she begins to investigate.</div><div><br></div><div>Rebecca Zlotowski's <i>A Private Life</i>&nbsp;premiered out of competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, receiving a 10-minute ovation and high praise for film legend Jodie Foster's leading performance. Supporting Foster is a who's who of French cinema, including&nbsp;Daniel Auteuil (<i>Jean de Florette</i>, <i>Caché</i>), frequent Wes Anderson collaborator Mathieu Amalric (also of <i>Quantum of Solace</i>&nbsp;and <i>Munich</i><u>),</u>&nbsp;and&nbsp;Luàna Bajrami (<i>Portrait of a Lady on Fire</i>, <i>Two People Exchanging Saliva</i>).
