Edinburgh Short FF: Amsterthem

This screening will be followed by a Q&A. Amsterthem is a short film project by Shortcutz Amsterdam that turns the untold stories of everyday Amsterdammers into an unforgettable cinematic experience. Seven filmmakers. Seven districts. Seven real lives. From a beloved fry shop owner fighting to stay open, to a rabbi bringing light to his community, each short film captures the spirit, grit, and beauty of a different part of the city. Together, they form a raw, human, and hyper-local portrait of Amsterdam today, told by the people who live it. Shortcutz Amsterdam is a dynamic film festival and platform dedicated to promoting and nurturing emerging Dutch film talent.
