A gripping thriller set against the backdrop of the British rave scene, Game stars Marc Bessant and Jason Williamson (Sleaford Mods) in their first leading roles. The idea orginated through a conversation between Geoff Barrow and Marc Bessant and is directed by John Minton in his feature debut
David, a jaded, aging raver from Bristol, heads to a final Rave in rural Hereford, seeking one last taste of freedom. But when he stumbles upon a drug dealer suffering a seizure in the car park, temptation wins: David robs the man of his stash and flees into the night. Just as he teeters on the edge of surrender, a stray dog appears. Clinging to hope, David tries to convince it to seek help. The dog vanishes into the trees, leaving David alone with his growing despair.
Speeding through the dark countryside, David’s car crashes violently deep within an isolated woodland, flipping onto its roof. Trapped, wounded, and desperate, he fights to free himself — but every attempt ends in failure. In agony and despair, David turns to the stolen drugs to numb his pain. Hours blur into hallucinations — until the dog returns, not to save him, but to savagely attack. Following a frantic struggle and a gruesome act of survival, he slips into unconsciousness.
At dawn, David awakens bloodied and broken — and realizes he’s not alone. Watching him silently is the dog’s owner: a cold-eyed poacher, whose intentions are anything but merciful. David’s battle for survival has only just begunThrillerPT1H22MTBC2025-11-27
