Feeling isolated in a royal court rife with scandal and intrigue, Marie Antoinette defied both royalty and commoner by living like a rock star, which served only to seal her fate.</div><div><br></div><div><i>Marie Antoinette</i> was the first ever production to be granted access to the Palace of Versailles for filming, which along with Academy Award-winning costume design by Milena Canonero makes for a stunning period drama. This dedication to the time's detail is contrasted only - and to great effect - by the famous new wave and post-punk soundtrack including Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Strokes, New Order and Adam and the Ants. In fact, the latter's frontman inspired the look for Jamie Dornan's Count von Fersen!</div>DramaPT2H3M152026-11-13JPenKirsten Dunst
