His girlfriend Candice is thriving and auditioning for a starring role in a Tina Turner musical; however, his daughter Kenisha is falling behind in school and has a strained relationship with her mum. When Travis buys Candice her dream dress for her auditions, it creates more and more problems for the family rather than alleviating the tension within.
