Despite being an extremely talented violin virtuoso, 20-year-old Cecilia's life is confined within the walls of the Pièta orphanage. She knows that marriage is her only way out into the world. However, things take a turn for her as she meets boundary-pushing genius composer Antonio Vivaldi after his appointment as the orphanage's violin teacher. With Vivaldi's guidance through his tutelage and music, Cecilia finds it within herself to rally against her once inevitable and unchangeable destiny.
