Béla Tarr announced that <i>The Turin Horse</i> would be his final film at the premiere of his previous release, <i>The Man From London</i>. The film features his longest average shot length of all, with 30 long takes over its 2 hour and 36 minute run time equating to a mean duration of roughly 5 minutes and 15 seconds per shot.
