Captioned Screenings

Captions display dialogue on-screen and also describe the audio or sound portion of a film, allowing viewers who are D/deaf or hard of hearing to follow the script and the action of a film at the same time. When on-screen captions are available with a film, we will always schedule a number of captioned screenings throughout our monthly programme.

Subtitled screenings feature on-screen English subtitles for non-English dialogue. PLEASE NOTE: These are not necessarily Hard of Hearing captioned screenings as above - please look for the "Captioned" badge for this.

All of our screens have accessible seating and spaces for wheelchair users.

Browse our upcoming screenings below, using the filter to select the access provisions available.

To set up an Access Account, which provides the ability to book wheelchair spaces and companion tickets, please email us at info@filmhouse.org.uk
