Carer Ticket

Disabled customers who require someone to support them to come to the cinema can book a free carer ticket for their carer to accompany them. Carer tickets are for those accompanying a disabled customer, and can be booked (in person) alongside the purchase of Access Ticket for Filmhouse screenings (or the relevant alternative ticket type when an Access Ticket is not available).

Carer tickets are currently available in person at Box Office or over the phone. We are working on a solution to allow Access Account holders to be able to book Carer Tickets online.

Customers can also display their Cinema Exhibitors’ Association (CEA) Card at the Box Office to receive their free Carer ticket. Supported by most major cinemas, the card enables individuals who require assistance due to a disability to access entertainment more affordably.

Customers aged 65 and over can receive a discounted ticket for most screenings at Filmhouse (some exclusions apply).

You may be asked to show proof of age when collecting tickets or entering the screen. This can include any photo ID or official document showing your date of birth. Senior Tickets are available online, over the phone and in person at Box Office.

Babes in Arms Policy

Babies under 18 months are allowed into U, PG and 12A screenings that start before 5pm. However, please note that standard screenings are not designed for babies. Sound levels may be loud and lighting will be at normal cinema levels.

If a baby causes disruption to other audience members, our team may ask you to step out of the screening. This is to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

For a more suitable and relaxed environment, we strongly recommend our Baby & Carer screenings, which take place every Monday at 10:30. These screenings are specifically designed for parents and carers with babies, with:

  • Lower sound levels
  • Softer lighting
  • A relaxed atmosphere where noise and movement are expected
